Probably the biggest Anaconda store in NSW. Huge range, good prices and staff. Be sure to go at the end of each season though to get the best deals.

Visited store on both Saturday and Sunday and found the staff always helpful and friendly. Never too much trouble

DO NOT BUY A BIKE OFF THEM. OR ANYTHING REMOTELY MECHANICAL.

Just kidding. I waited 14 days only to rang up and told they weren't fixing the bike as it was a 'maintenance issue'. So in the space of 26 days without my bike I was taken in complete circles on a number of occasions. I told the lady (who I won't name but would love to) that I wanted everything documented and printed as to what had happened in this process and that I would pick up my bike. In the 1.5 hours between that phone call and me picking up my bike she had conveniently gone home and no paperwork to be seen. I left my email address requesting this all be sent to me (as I am now going directly to the manufacturer in an attempt to solve the issue). That was last Thursday, and I am yet to see anything. Unfortunately I'm not suprised. With the service I've had so far this email probably won't turn up at all as the bike is no longer under there roof and they no longer care, although to suggest they ever cared is a risky statement. They recieved my $2200 at purchase and that's where Anaconda stops caring, the money in their pocket.

Oh well. Perhaps the Department of Fair Trading might be able to spark some care into them.

As someone who works in the outdoor industry, they've lost all future sales from me. And for anyone who has cared to read this far as someone who works heavily in the kayaking industry I highly recommend not purchasing that equipment either as I have heard some horror stories in regards to warranty claims there aswell

I have bought plenty of gear over the years from them. Tents, bedrolls, hydration packs, shoes, clothing, stoves, gas etc.

Went so far as to spend over $2000 on a bike. The bike had issues with the brakes since new for which I returned it for warranty. They had my bike for 26 days. During this time I was told things such as "if you had brought it back earlier we would have fixed it". Reality check #1. Returing a faulty item after a week or 11.5 months it is still under a 1 year warranty. I was also told it was a 'maintenance issue' that was not covered. Interesting this maintenance issue existed since new. I was also told steps i had taken myself can 'void my warranty' only to be told later they recommend I get the bike fixed using a certain method. Which I had already done at my own expense. At one stage I was told that they realised there was a fault and they were going to outsource the repair (basically because there 'mechanics' are people given an apron to wear and some tools to figure out what they do). But that was promising news. I was told I would hear from them in a number of days to be told what was happening with my bike. That got me excited, finally some progress to resolve the issue.

I attended the Penrith store on Saturday 25th November 2017 looking to buy a kayak. I was assisted by a young man by the name of Ashley who was so very helpful. As being my first time buying a kayak and not knowing anything about it Ashely was amazing, very patient and very knowledgeable in the product he was selling. Ashley also advised on how to tie the kayak down on the roof racks on my car and also putting the kayak up on the roof and tying it down for me. You don't get service like this much anymore. Ashley is a huge asset to Anaconda with his knowledge and skill.

I needed advice regarding a well-fitting, lightweight backpack to walk 800km along the Camino Way later this year. Staff were so helpful, regarding options, as they were when they fitted me with hiking shoes a few weeks ago. :)
